CooperVision is a world leader in the manufacture of toric contact lenses developed for patients afflicted by astigmatism although they also develop and manufacture other types of lenses for customers who wish to tint or adjust their eye colours.

Toric Lenses: CooperVision's soft toric lenses are produced at Rochester, New York while their custom-made toric lenses and spheric lenses are produced at Huntingdon Beach, California. Planned replacement lenses are produced in Hampshire in the UK; two of the most popular lenses produced by CooperVision are the Frequency 55 Toric as well as the Encore Toric.

Aesthetic Lenses: Their primary product is the Expression Lens which produces a more natural, realistic eye colour adjustment. CooperVision also supply Natural Touch Opaque Lenses. In addition, following the their takeover of Ocular Sciences Inc. in 2004, CooperVision added a further three top quality lens products to its portfolio: Biomedics 38, Biomedics 55, and Biomedics 55 Premier.

CooperVision - A History

Founded in 1979, CooperVision is a Division of the CooperCompanies. An additional Division of the parent company is CooperSurgical a company that supplies medical devices, surgical equipment, diagnostic instruments and accessories developed for use by obstetricians as well as gynaecologists. The CooperVision Headquarters is based at Irvine, California but they have manufacturing plants around the world.
